Americans for Life's only goal is the elimination of abortion in each and every state in our nation. This might be through passing a Life at Conception Act at the national level or at the state level. Either way, we won't stop until every state has ended the killing of the unborn.

A Life at Conception Act would declare life to begin at the very moment of conception, therefore unborn children would be granted the same right to life that you and I both share under the law.

Ironically, this legal way to stop abortion in America is within the very Roe v. Wade ruling that overturned state laws against abortion back in 1973. The Court noted if a legislature ever declared that life begins at conception, then unborn babies would have the protections of the U.S. Constitution. It should not be necessary but the Life at Conception Act is what we need to end the abortion holocaust in America.

And while we are working at passing Life at Conception Acts, Americans for Life will also focus on ending the forced taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood.

No individual should be forced to unwillingly promote abortion, and Americans for Life will see to it that no one does.
